Maria -– Treatment Coordinator

As a treatment coordinator, Maria follows new patients from their initial exam all the way through to the end of treatment. She was born in Havana, Cuba, and has worked in the orthodontic field for 20 years. Maria has warmth that is infectious and always has a smile for everyone! If her job wasn’t enough to keep her busy, she also has two grown children and a nine year old grandson to fill her time. She also makes time for riding motorcycles, exercising, and watching movies.

Angie -– Treatment Coordinator

Angie joins our team with 15 years experience as a Treatment Coordinator. She is a highly-trained and wonderful new addition to our staff! Angie's personality lights up a room.... outgoing, upbeat, warm and always positive! Our other team members and the patients absolutely love her! She has a husband and two sons, and her favorite pastime is spending time with them doing whatever they are interested in! She also loves squeezing in time in the gym. She is in charge of taking care of new patients from the moment they call the office until they have achieved their beautiful smiles... and beyond! We are truly thrilled to have Angie at Zambrano Orthodontics!

Marcia –- Chairside Assistant

Marcia comes to us from Cuba, and has been one of our chairside assistants for nine years. Though being mom to two adorable children takes a lot of energy, Marcia seems to always have an unending supply of energy in the office. Our patients love the care and attention she provides to them. She has been known to bust out in some dance moves from time to time, and at office get-togethers she is the queen of the dance floor! She’s got an infectiously happy personality that is a joy to have in our practice.

Norma

A native of Cuba, Norma is one of the two team members that have been here the longest. She’s been with us for 15 years and has 28 years of experience in the field! Norma is the gentlest person you could ever meet. She has a quiet humility that people love, and our patients and our team just think she’s incredible. Her skill is top-notch, and she has an extremely gentle touch. Mom to one grown son, Norma still makes time for her many hobbies, gardening, baking and spending time with her cherished family and dog, Abu. No one will argue that Norma makes the very best flan in the city! We live for the days that Norma comes in carrying a foil-covered plate because we know just what’s inside!

Ihab

Adored by our patients and staff with the nick name “Chamo”, Ihab was born and raised in Venezuela and graduated as a Dentist at the age of 22. He moved to the U.S. with his wife and two children in 2009 and enjoys going to the beach and watching movies with his family. In 2009 he joined our practice as a chair side assistant and is thrilled to work with such a dynamic team bringing quality service and lots of smiles to our family of patients.

Vicky

Vicky is our resident joker, and always keeps everyone laughing! She’s spent an amazing 19 years in our practice and she is known, loved, and respected by our team and patients alike. She’s sarcastic, so be prepared! Vicky comes from Columbia and has a beautiful daughter who has grown up in the practice. She loves to travel with her daughter, hit the beach, and is an ace racquetball player. She’s always the first to organize a costume day and is always ready to make someone crack up! We are so lucky to have her as a long-time member of our team!

Veronica –- Chairside Assistant

Vero is one of our chairside assistants, and an excellent one at that! She considers working with children one of the highpoints of her 22 year career in orthodontics. She is the pastry chef of our office, always showing up with some amazing dessert that she has made from scratch. With her around, it’s hard to stick to any type of diet! A native of Chile, she is mom to two teenagers and her dog, Mozart. Her favorite pastime is dancing with a folklore group called Puro Chile. She’s got the moves chairside as well as on the dance floor!

Dermis –- Chairside Assistant

Dermis is a professionally trained orthodontist from Cuba, and we are lucky to have her working as a chairside assistant here in our office. Her extensive knowledge of orthodontics and 25 years of experience are an immeasurable benefit to our practice, and certainly to our patients! With her two children already grown, she spends a lot of her free time exercising. We love having Dermis as a part of our team!

Lourdes –- Chairside Assistant

Lourdes is another professionally trained orthodontist that comes to us from Cuba, assisting our team chairside. She has the skills and the know how to really be an asset to our team. With over 15 years of experience in the field of orthodontics, Lourdes knows her way around the patient’s smiles! She has one lovely teenage daughter and two dogs. She enjoys listening to music and exercising in her spare time. She loves everything about her job, especially seeing the great results at the end of treatment!

Gloria

With over 10 years of experience in the orthodontic field, Gloria loves the reward that orthodontics gives someone. “ The benefits of a beautiful smile are priceless”. “I am so glad to be a part of Dr. Zambrano’s team and provide the quality and comfort service that our office gives and is known for.” Joining the practice in 2009 she helps our patients experience from the beginning to be a memorable one. During our spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and two little dogs Tyson and Cookie who are a handful.

Estrella –- Office Manager

As our office manager, Estrella is busy morning, noon, and night! She handles payroll, insurance, accounts receivable and dozens of other things that are critical to the success of our practice. No pressure there! She comes from Cuba and is the proud mother of two grown children, one of which is Dr. Zambrano! She loves to travel the world, be on the water, and spend time with her four grandchildren. Her precious puppy, Pepper, is one of the loves of her life, without question. She is one lady who knows how to get the job done!

Cesar -– Lab Coordinator

Cesar is a behind-the-scenes team member who is a critical component of our practice. He runs the lab which makes all of the appliances for all of our patients. It’s a wonderful thing to have your own in-house lab versus having to send out all of your work to an independent lab like so many offices do, and we couldn’t be luckier to have this veteran of the lab here. Cesar loves to dance and spends a lot of his free time traveling to visit his new grandbaby in California. Though patients don’t see much of him because he’s always back in the lab, he is a cherished and very important member of our team.
